3 Factors To Keep In Mind While Drafting Strategies In Forex

Forex trading, one of the most profitable trading domains today is best approached keeping the big picture in mind. While the profit prospects lie abounding, it is essential that traders enter the currency markets knowing what's in store and how Forex trading happens. It goes without saying that the basis for everything is the currency invested. From major to minor, to exotic pairs - there are a number of currencies you can work with and each has attributes of its own depending on the market conditions at that point of time.

Once the currency-related research has been done and ample knowledge gained, strategizing is the next step. A lot of flexibility is available when strategizing; you can work with long-term strategies or short-term means depending on your requirements and choices. Strategies of all sorts have a healthy success rate, provided you implement them right.

forex trading strategies
Irrespective of the Forex trading strategies implemented, there are certain areas to keep in mind while drafting them:

1) Interest Rates:

To trade Forex successfully, interest rates are something you can't take out of the picture. Inflation often causes a country's government to rework the interest rates in an attempt to get foreign investors interested, and in doing so, better the country's economic conditions. Hence, depending on the currency pairs and how the markets are moving, traders will either pay or win interest. Usually in a country with a healthy economy, investors will rush to buy currencies.

2) Fundamental Factors:

Fundamental data will help you identify the strength behind a currency pair, and in doing so, let you strategize aptly. Forex Trading Strategies are vital to trades, however, fundamental analysis is what lets you analyze markets and identify the viable currency pairs. Without knowing the effectiveness of a particular pair in the markets, investing is pointless! So always keep these factors in mind while drafting strategies.

3) Technical Factors:

Technical analysis is the speculation of market trends based on a particular currency's historic movements. With a set of indicators in place, you will be able to visualize historical trade data and with that information, make sharp trades.

Always test your strategies before you take them to the live trade markets! Call WesternFX and try our Forex Demo in Indonesia. Why The Patient Trader Always Wins At Forex Trading?

A tiger can chase a gazelle all it wants, but the latter is going to bolt past without breaking a sweat. The same scenario applies to Forex traders. You can chase profits all you want, but it isn't speed that wins Forex, it is patience. If the same tiger hid in waiting and pounced when the gazelle was distracted, it would definitely not have to remain hungry.

At the end of the day, be it out in the wild or in the Forex markets, patience is what triumphs. Several impatient traders have lost big bucks on trades placed hastily, and several more have seen massive profits solely by waiting for the right moment!

Forex demo account
Here are 4 reasons why you should exercise patience:

1) The Currency Markets Can't Be Controlled:

If the volatile Forex trading markets could be controlled, everyone would be a millionaire. The impatient Forex trader always tries to control the markets, whereas the patient one waits for the market to move in his/her favor. Going against the tide is impossible, so you wait patiently for the tide to move according to your interests.

2) Not Trading Is Wiser Than Always Trading:

Traders who make big money often do so by avoiding many trades! It sounds ironic, but that's how success is seen. In the Forex trading markets, there will be several loss-inducing trades disguised as lucrative exchanges, and it takes experience to avoid such trades. When you are a patient trader, telling a good trade apart from a bad one will happen instinctively.

3) More Time Should Be Invested In Analyzing:

Being patient and waiting for the right trade gives you a lot of time to analyze the markets. As a Forex trader, your job goes beyond simply making exchanges. A lot of time has to be spent on analyzing past mistakes, improving on your Forex Trading Strategies and ensuring that you are ready for the emerging trends.

4) Patience Keeps Overtrading At Bay:

Taking one trade after the other can often lead to overtrading. However, with patience you will realize that trading shouldn't be done with emotions but with a sharp mind.

Be the trading tiger you're meant to be and mint stellar profits. Start off by practicing on a world-class Forex Demo Account! Join hands with WesternFX today, and give your trading career the much-needed push. A Quick Overview Of Day Trading In Forex!

The low starting requirements Forex trading has is one of the biggest factors behind the traction it sees. Traders can get started with exchanging currencies with minimal capital! Being a 24 hour market, Forex trading even offers traders a huge window of opportunity. No matter the time-zone you trade from, you will have ample market movements to capitalize on.

Forex Trading Strategies
To add to the already existing benefits, Forex trading is one of the most liquid trading markets! This means that at any given instance, you stand a high chance of finding counterparties for your trades. Valued at $5 trillion dollars, the foreign exchange market is a place where buyers and sellers thrive in huge numbers!

As lucrative as Forex Trading Strategies is, there's a catch. Each trade is accompanied by a huge chance of losses. This is why the employment of strong Forex trading strategies is necessary. Depending on factors like the timeframe, currencies and market tendencies, a number of approaches can be followed. And one of the most popular strategies in Forex is day trading. Day trading is an approach that doesn't get too taxing in terms of capital, but becomes a challenging ordeal when it comes to implementation.

Day Trading In Forex

Put simply, day trading is an approach where traders have a limited time period to commence and close their trades. Within the span of a day, day traders have to analyze markets and place their trades. Many believe this to be a slightly relaxed approach because day traders often only place one or two trades a day. Don't let this fool you; done right, this strategy can bring in stellar profits!

Why Risk Management Is Important In Day Trading

When day trading with such limited time, risk management is very important. One bad move could send you spiraling down towards losses! Professionals say that no more than 3-4% of your capital should be risked. The key here is to trade minimally, but to get that one trade right. And this requires a lot of analysis and risk management. Though trading on a minimal timeframe, there are risks abounding.

What It Takes To Succeed As A Day Trader

Different people have different approaches to success, but there are certain basics to be followed. To be a victorious day trader, stop-losses should be employed in trades, risk capital will have to be allocated and leveraging should be done with care. This helps ensure that the few trades made will be more profitable than loss-incurring!

At the end of the day, no strategy can be mastered immediately. This is where WesternFX comes into play! One of the best Forex Broker in Indonesia in the game, we will provide you with top-notch trading guidance! From planning out detailed Forex trading strategies to managing risks, you will learn Forex with us in no time. Call us now to get started!

For an experienced trader with lots of amassed profits, losing a few thousand dollars here and there won't be a big deal. However, if you're a beginner or an intermediate Forex trader, your investments should be made carefully.

1) Trading Without A Good Plan:

Forex trading strategies are the crux of every trade, without a well-planned approach, winning a trade is close to impossible. As an adept Forex trader, it is crucial that you know how to maneuver your trade, and this is only done with a good strategy.

2) Getting Too Confident:

Overconfidence is one of the biggest enemies a Forex trader can have. A few consecutive profits are enough to change one's mindset and make him/her feel that every other trade will end in a win. But the truth is that overconfidence only drives you towards further losses. When you are too enthusiastic, ambition becomes greed and you will start making rash trades!

3) Taking Risks Without Need:

When risks are taken appropriately, you can increase the profit potential of each trade by several times. However, risking blindly is no different than digging a hole and jumping in it! Always calculate your risks, keep dedicated risk capital in place and only when you're sure of an outcome, make a move.

4) Overtrading:

The 24 hour Forex Trading In Indonesia market makes it very tempting to never stop trading, however, overtrading can lead to losses so huge, you will burn out your complete trading capital over one bad trade. As a newbie Forex trader, expecting to have a spotless trading career might not work out too well. The process of learning always comes with mistakes, and truth be told, that's the most efficient way to learn. Making a mistake is never the problem; it's not correcting it that becomes troublesome down the line. Pitfalls and hurdles are all a part of the journey, and Forex will have hurdles in plenty. So as you start off, there are some mistakes you will most likely end up making, some common, some uncommon - but you want to keep the expensive errors at bay.

Forex Trading Strategies
Here are 4 common mistakes Forex traders that should be minimized:

1) Not Having A Proper Trading Plan:

Trading without a good Forex Trading Strategies is one of the biggest mistake traders make in foreign exchange. A trading plan is your guide. Without it, proceeding further will become difficult with each trade. Novices often rush in without a well-drafted plan, out of enthusiasm, and this costs them a good sum in the end.

2) Risking Too Much Or Too Less:

You have to be wise with risks while Forex trading. Risks taken right can multiply your profits by a huge amount, and the ones taken wrongly will only leave a hole in your wallet. As a Forex trader, you need not think of risks as a gateway to losses. They are problematic only when taken without proper research.

3) Not Cutting Losses Quick:

Forex traders have to be quick to take profits and quicker to cut losses. Losing trends come by in huge numbers and you will find yourself surfing the wrong tide on many occasions. Whenever a losing trade makes its way in, cut it early. Having bleak hopes of it turning back in your favor will prove very expensive after a point.

4) Lack Of Self-Analysis And Trade-Analysis:

Novices almost never spend time analyzing themselves or their trades. Self-analysis is the key to improvement as a Forex trader! Without analyzing your trades, you will never be able to spot the flaws in your approach.

Known globally for being the trading domain with trillions in market value, a currency exchange has today become a great investment opportunity for the young and the old! Many individuals have made Forex trading a full-time career option. While the experienced have more knowledge of Forex and have a better idea of its intricacies, the novices are kept in the dark. Trading currencies has to be done keeping in mind the various aspects it contains, the ignorance of which leads to the downfall of many.

Forex broker in Indonesia
Here are 4 trading secrets to be aware of:

1) Only 20% Of Forex Traders Succeed:

Thousands enter Forex Trading markets, but only a handful come out with profits in their hands. The currency markets are known for being intense and even merciless on some days. Without proper research and practice, winning trades on these grounds is close to impossible! Novices often blow their account up early due to overinvesting, lack of market knowledge and being unable to act during volatile market shifts.

2) Several Brokers Lure Novices With Fake Claims:

When a broker promises you 100% returns, it's a trap. Novices most have only one thing in sight - money, and when a broker claims that they will help them make money, traders get lured in. It is crucial that traders do a background check on brokers before availing their services. Many Forex brokers in Indonesia genuinely are amazing at their job and help several traders reach high levels of profits!

3) Not All Signals Are Accurate:

Forex trading signals are provided to help traders find the perfect time to place a trade or to leave one, but they are not always accurate. Several traders bank completely on them and fail to take into consideration any other aspect of the market!

4) Leverage Does More Harm Than Good:

A leverage no matter how big or small, more so than less, does harm than good. This can be blamed firstly on a trader's lack of knowledge and secondly on the market volatility. If the markets are volatile and a trader isn't volatile enough, the trade is bound to sink! Always leverage in small amounts and try to grow organically.

3 Proven Ways To Protect And Boost Your Forex Trading Capital

As a Forex trader, you will be surfing turbulent waters with huge amounts of capital in your hand. With aspects like leverage making your trades extremely double-edged, it is up to you to ensure the money invested is secure and doesn't fall prey to erratic market movements. A brief look at statistics will show you that a good chunk of Forex trading beginners lose their money due to poor money management skills. When participating in trades that are accompanied by the inseparable element of risk, blaming the markets for towing you towards losses is an unwise thing to do.

Demo Trading Account
Managing investments needs no technical knowledge whatsoever! With the power of will and proficient market comprehension, you can mitigate losses, secure your capital and move towards multiplying profits.

Here are 3 ways around this:

1) Establish Mental And Physical Trading Limits:

If you exercise enough control over yourself, you have already done half of the necessary. Traders often take an early fall because they are unable to exert mental control over themselves and end up losing money due to greed. Along with emotional stops, placing real-time Forex Trading stops is also important if you want to keep your trades from dipping! With a few well-planned stop orders in place, you can mitigate several costly losses that have more than enough appetite to eat up your trade.

2) Back Out Of Poorly-Placed Trades:

Never hold on to a losing trade, no matter how promising it seems. Once a trade has crossed a particular threshold of decline, it becomes obvious thereon that ascension can't be expected. Novices on many an unfortunate occasion, keep holding their position even when it is dipping, out of some mad hope that it will climb back up and profits can be made, magically. Don't make the same mistake! If a trade turns out bad or has been placed wrongly, leave it immediately.

3) Take Calculated Risks:

Big risks equal big money, but big risks also lead to bigger losses; so what should a trader do? He should take risks, be it small or big, but take them in a calculated manner. Do your fair-share of market and trade analysis before taking a leap of faith!

Why Manual Traders Should Consider Using Forex Trading Indicators

A field as complex as Forex trading puts traders in a spot where they need some external assistance to help land profitable trades. With various charts displaying a variety of points, there is only so much a trader can do on his/her own. This is where indicators come into play; designed to provide traders with the necessary details to identify profitable trends and capitalize on them, Forex indicators are a blessing in disguise! Indicators aid in predicting potential trends the market might see, thus keeping you better-equipped to avoid the bad ones and zero-in on the good ones before the competition does.

Forex trading indicators work by taking multiple algorithms into account to study the instruments you are working with. Based on this information, you are presented with easy-to-grasp trade information in the form of graphs and other illustrations. When placed right, they can help land incredibly profitable trades and mitigate many expensive losses.

Here are 4 reasons why indicators are an important Forex element today:

1) Catch Trends Efficiently:

Trends are the bread and butter of a Forex trader, but netting them is easier said than done. Indicators help traders skim through the charts and find profitable trends to cash in on later. With the right set of indicators in place, you can measure a trend's strength, momentum and many such attributes that essentially project how long it will last and how valuable it is.

2) Grasp Happenings Easily:

Without indicators, the charts look dark! A lot can be noticed on the charts, but only if you employ proper indicators. To succeed as a Forex trader, you will have to be adept in your approach, and this is very arduous without a good set of indicators.

3) Avail Trade Alerts:

A good Forex Trading indicator will provide you with trade alerts in regards to price, trend changes etc. By making wise use of these, you can vastly improve the quality of trades you place.

4) Make Agile Strategies And Improve Your Techniques:

Landing profitable trades ultimately boils down to how efficient your Forex trading strategy is. When you trade with indicators in place, you can continuously improve on the strategy implemented, better it and ensure it brings inconsistent results!

Merely keeping an indicator won't help; you have to place the right ones to see the most impact! Learn how to use your indicators wisely from the professionals at WesternFX - the best Forex Broker In Indonesia! Our experts will equip you with all the tools and knowledge you need to succeed as a Forex trader in today's competitive markets. Call us now to know more!

Why You Must Use Bullish Candlestick Patterns To Buy Stocks

The candlestick chart transcends from the ancient Japanese rice trade to the modern day stock trades! Several investors find them to be visually more attractive than the usual bar charts. Moreover, it is easier to interpret the price actions with their representations. They appear rectangular in shape with wicks on either side and thus the name - ‘candlesticks’.

Each candlestick normally shows a day’s worth of stock price data. With time, many candlesticks can be grouped together to form recognizable patterns which investors can analyze and make decisions for stock trading as well as Forex Trading.

Stock Broker In Indonesia
How To Read A Single Candlestick:

Representing the stock price data for a single day, each candlestick gives for pieces of information - opening price, closing price, high price, and low price. A black candlestick represents a bearish scenario with the closing price lesser than the opening price, indicating high selling pressure.

On the other hand, a hollow or white candlestick represents a bullish scenario with the closing price higher than the opening price, indicating buying pressure. The lines on either ends is known as ‘shadows’. They demonstrate the entire range of price action for a particular day, from low to high. The upper shadow shows the highest price for the day while the lower shadow shows the lowest price for the day. Having a clear understanding of the basics of such a structure will enable investors to equip themselves with key stock and Forex Trading Strategies.

Bullish Candlestick Patterns:

Eventually, many groups of candlesticks form recognizable patterns which are acknowledged with a variety of descriptive names including hammer, bullish engulfing, morning star, three white soldiers, and piercing line. However, it is important to note that bullish reversal patterns are demonstrated within a downward trend and they require bullish confirmation.

One way of confirming is the observation of upward price movements coupled with high trading volumes, following the bullish patterns. Seeking assistance from professional Stockbrokers like WesternFX in Indonesia would be a great way to get started with this technique.

Here are the bullish candlestick patterns which provide the strongest reversal signals.

1) The Hammer & The Inverted Hammer:

This pattern alerts the stock trader that the stock is hitting the bottom in a downward trend. The candles’ bodies are short with longer lower shadows that indicate the price drop during the trading session. By the end of the session, however, the buying pressure increases along with the prices. To confirm the upward trend, the investors must watch the patterns closely for the next couple of days and validate the bullish reversal action by correlating it with the rise in trading volume.

The inverted hammer is also observed to form a downward trend representing a bullish reversal. It’s quite identical to the hammer except that the upper shadow is longer instead of the lower one. This shows the increase in buying pressure post the opening price which is followed by reasonable selling pressure. However, it is not enough to lower the price below the opening value. Here, the bullish confirmation is gotten by detecting a long hollow candlestick or a gap up which is coupled with heavy trading volume.

2) The Bullish Engulfing:

This one is a two-candle reversal pattern. The second one fully engulfs the real body of the first one regardless of the length of its tail shadows. It usually appears in a downward trend as a combination of one dark candle which is followed by a larger hollow candle.

On the second, one can observe the lowering of the price below the previous low. However, the buying pressure gives a thrust and pushes the price higher than the previous high eventually. This is a big win for the stock buyers. The reversal pattern here can be confirmed when the bullish movement goes higher than the high of the engulfing candle (second hollow or white candle).

3) The Morning Star:

This pattern is looked up to as a sign of hope. It is known to give a new beginning to a gloomy downward trend. Here, one can observe three different candles - a long black candle, a doji(short-bodied) candle, and a long white candle, in the same order respectively. The color of the doji can be either white or black.

Also, there isn’t any overlap between its body and that of the long black candle preceding it. This depicts the selling pressure that existed a day before is subsiding now. The body of the third candle (white) overlaps with that of the doji. This indicates the resumption of the buying pressure and the start of a bullish reversal, which can be confirmed by increased volume.

4) The Three White Soldiers:

This pattern is known to appear beyond a period of downward trend. It is comprised of three long white candles which happen to close higher progressively on each subsequent trading day. It represents a steady increase in buying pressure, each candle is observed to open higher than the former open and close near the high of that particular day. Investors are advised to exercise caution when they see long white candles which generally attract short sellers, thereby pulling the stock price further down.

5) The Piercing Line:

Like the bullish engulfing pattern, the piercing line is a two-candle bullish reversal pattern, occurring in downward trends. Here, a long black candle is followed by a white candle which is observed to open lower than the former close. Consequently, the buying pressure steers the price upward, by half or more, into the black candle’s real body.

The candlestick chart serves as a valuable technical analysis tool which helps investors refine their information and improve their decision-making capabilities within the realm of stock trading and even forex trading. Remember to always confirm the bullish reversal by subsequent price actions prior to trade initiation. WesternFX is an expert Stock Broker in Indonesia. 4 Advantages Of Using Entry Orders In Forex Trading

No matter how effective your trading plan, sometimes you will need that extra element in play to secure a trade. In this case, an entry order; an order placed while trading currencies, which automatically carries out a trade once a certain currency value has been reached. Being a 24-hour market, Forex trading sees many traders around the world participate. However, one trader can't stay up the whole time just for a few trades! This is why entry orders are kept, to carry out a trade outside your comfortable time-zones.

Forex Demo In Indonesia

Here are 4 reasons why you should implement entry orders in Forex:

1) Automatic Execution:

All you have to do as a trader is to decide on a currency value and place your entry. The trade will get carried on automatically after that! This is incredibly advantageous for traders because they don't have to keep monitoring charts. Additionally, this keeps you from making irrational, last-minute changes that often cost many traders good money!

2) Save A Lot Of Time:

Imagine living in Japan and wanting to place a trade which is over 20 hours away - it is doable once, but more than that is just plain straining. When you have an entry order in place, you don't have to worry about the trade thereon. This also clears up your schedule and gives you more time to focus on other trades or simply even on other day-to-day activities. Entry orders are perfect for part-time traders as well since they don't have the whole day to trade.

3) Preserving Capital:

Capital management is important in Forex Trading if you want to trade more than just once! Many Forex traders risk an unhealthy amount of money and sabotage their career. With entry orders, you can make sure you are profiting while also ensuring your capital is unaffected. When you place entries, it gives you more time to conduct multiple trades, and minimizing losses caused due to second thoughts or overtrading.

4) Keeping Emotions away:

One of the primary reasons you should practice using entries in your Forex trading strategies is solely to keep emotions away! Once you have placed an order, leave it be and let the trade carry out on its own. An entry order will help you keep emotions at bay since you won't be watching each and every second of the trade.

3 Of The Worst Forex Trading Scams To Watch Out For

Where there's money, there's competition; and where there's competition, there's unfairness. Traders today have to thrive in a competitive environment while Forex trading in Indonesia and brokers have it no different. In fact, the competition is scaled up far higher when it comes to brokerage firms because each agency has to make sure they get enough traders as clients.

Even after getting a good few traders partnered up, some agencies choose to employ means such that the traders lose money while the brokers make profits. And the novices, not knowing well from bad, end up getting scammed and lose a lot of money.

Though Forex trading markets look all happy and pink on the outside, a lot of wrongs go down which cost traders a lot of money!

Here are 3 scams you should watch out for to have a pleasant trading experience:

1) Fake Claims Of Profits:

Brokers have to act quickly if they want to bring in traders, and what better way to attract traders than with false claims of profits? Any trader will get starry-eyed when he hears the words that go something like "100% returns and profits guaranteed!” This is the first tactic many Forex brokers use to lure in customers. How to avoid it? Simple, just accept the fact that such claims are always baited. It is impossible to have a completely profitable trading career! Don't fall for such claims and keep your mind sharp.

2) Coercing You To Invest More:

How much you invest should always be decided by you. And this decision should come as a result of rigorous research and be backed by knowledge, not through the whispers of your broker. Forex brokers earn through spreads and commissions, and these rates go up as you invest more, so they will obviously want you to put in all your capital! If you really think more investments are needed, go for it, but make sure this move is backed by the necessary research and ensure your calls are educated and not influenced by the brokerage.

3) Signal Sellers:

Forex trading signals help traders catch entry and exit points and draft a strong Forex Trading Strategies. To find the perfect point of entry and exit, traders make use of signals, and these are provided by signal sellers. Keep in mind that in these cases there is very little on the line for sellers, so they have all the room to scam you!
